I’ve been trying to get fireworks photos in the context of their event or location, so for Nanton that meant either planes or grain elevators. My original plan was to include the Canadair T-33 Silver Star at the Bomber Command Museum in the photo, but it’s mounted too high. The Avro CF-100 Canuck was the right height, meant the power/phone lines would be more prominent. Oh well, if I really want to spend the time I can edit them out. Most people probably wouldn’t have noticed if I hadn’t pointed them out. Next year I’ll try to include the grain elevators. See the complete set of Nanton Round-up Days fireworks photos.
