I went earlier than normal for the Saturday Finale show, because in previous years it has been very busy. On previous nights there was no line-up for the buses, but this night there was a long line. Arriving at the park, it was already packed and I knew it would take longer than normal to leave when it was over. The winners were announced with Team Philippines taking the people’s choice award and Team Italy succeeding in winning the competition again. It seems that next year GlobalFest will be expanding as five competitors were announced for 2012.
